My name is Jon. I’m an average, everyday, middle-aged, single dad. Over the years, I’ve navigated working to the demands of both large corporate settings and smaller companies, managing projects and people. My career has taken me across three continents, where I’ve always taken my job seriously—sometimes to my detriment.
For 25 years, I have managed Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) through medication, exercise, and therapy. For most of my life, it felt under control. Recently, however, my anxiety reached a tipping point, compelling me to quit my job and rethink my approach to life.
This blog is my attempt to share my journey, in the hopes that it might help both myself and others who face similar challenges. If you see yourself in any part of my story, know that you’re not alone. There are others out there struggling alongside you. Let’s support each other—please share your ideas and thoughts as we go along.
